GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT/AWARD PAPER SUBMISSION


NSI-YNFCON - 2025 welcomes abstract for surgical videos, free papers & e-posters presentations

Abstracts are invited from Post Graduate trainees as well as consultants, in clinical and research areas pertaining to Neurosciences specialities.

Authors will have the option of choosing to submit their abstract in 8 categories as mentioned below. Submission in different categories by the same author are also allowed. Submission can be done for e poster or free paper presentation or both

  • Recent Advances in Neurosurgery
  • Skull Base
  • Spine & Trauma
  • Endoscopic Spine Surgery
  • Neuro Vascular
  • Paediatric Neurosurgery
  • Endovascular
  • Interesting Cases & Complication Avoidance
  • Neuro Oncology
  • Challenges in Academic Institutions & Private Practice
  • Women in Neurosurgery
  • Surgical Video (my worst complication)
  • Miscellaneous

Instructions for abstract submission:
  • Extended Last Date of Abstract submission is 14-May 2025 , while acceptance of submissions will be notified within 20 days after closure of submission.
  • To be written in English, Microsoft Word document, Arial font
  • Use a word count of 250 words or less (excluding title, key words and references)
  • Include a title of 12 words maximum
  • The abstract should be structured as follows: Title, Aim & Objectives, Material & Method, Results & Conclusion
  • In case of video presentation, the maximum length of video will be 5 minutes.
  • Videos may be formatted in MPEG, AVI, WMV, or QuickTime (MOV) with a maximum resolution of 1280x720. MPEG-4 is the preferred format.
  • Preferably the first author/submitting should be the presenting author. The presenting author is obliged to ascertain that all authors are aware of the content and should be original work. The authors should ascertain that there is no plagiarism including self-plagiarism.
  • Submissions will be reviewed by an expert committee. Authors of accepted submissions will be required to submit full paper/poster/video case in prescribed guidelines by
    10-June 2025
    to be reviewed and presented at the conference.If your paper is not selected for the Award Paper category, it will automatically be considered for review under the Oral Presentation category.

General Instructions:
  • All abstracts must be the original, unpublished work of the authors, with all listed authors having significant contribution to the completion of the work.
  • The paper should not have been presented in any conference earlier.
  • Submission of an abstract constitutes the author & commitment to present the abstract if accepted and, in the session, assigned by the Scientific committee. All presenters must register for the conference.
  • All expenses associated with the preparation and presentation of the abstracts is the responsibility of the author/presenter
